How to Apply:
Welcome to the 2026-27 Application Portal! Please complete this link to apply for enrollment for the 2026-27 school year. Please note the following:
To complete the application process, please note that student-athletes must complete a Shadow Day visit or a student interview via Zoom prior to acceptance of their enrollment. Student athlete applicants must also complete a short 500-word essay stating why you would like to attend Praxis Elite Sports Academy and how you would describe your passion for your sport. If students are applying for the 8th+ year option, please also state what you plan to accomplish with an 8th+ year and how you would personally contribute to the culture at Praxis Elite Sports Academy Junior Prep. Student athletes can email their statement essays to: hello@praxiselite.com.
Sixth-grade applicants will be considered after conducting a pre-enrollment interview with Praxis Elite staff. Priority will be given to 6th-grade siblings of current Praxis Elite students, siblings of older applicants for the 2026-27 school year, and siblings of Praxis Elite alumni. Please contact the Director to schedule a pre-enrollment interview by emailing amanda@praxiselite.com.
Please also note that new this year, we require one letter of recommendation from a current or most recent coach and/or a current teacher of record. Please request coaches/teachers submit their recommendations to us directly prior to the application deadline. Recommendations can be sent to: hello@praxiselite.com.

We prefer all student applicants attend an in-person Shadow Day to visit our school and work through a training assessment with our coaching staff prior to enrollment. We will notify applicants when the available Shadow Days will be held prior to acceptance into the program once we have received your application. If you have already submitted an application and need to schedule a Shadow Day, please email the Director at amanda@praxiselite.com.

The standard enrollment days for our part-time enrollment plans are listed below. We are able to accommodate alternate days based on interest and availability!
3 Day Plan: Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday

Our microschool is located in San Diego, CA. We are located on the corner of Rancho Bernardo Rd and Camino San Bernardo. Just 2 miles away from Del Norte High School.

We follow a standard Monday through Friday schedule from 08:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Fridays are 11:00AM to 1:30PM, optional in-person day/mandatory work from home. We welcome further discussion to better understand your specific needs if you require flexibility!

We want to ensure that we’re a good fit for your family! We require a shadow day before students are able to enroll. Once you have accepted your spot for the school year, there is a nonrefundable deposit of $1,000 to hold your spot. Curriculum costs are nonrefundable and are selected by parents/students prior to beginning of the school year. These costs vary by curriculum selected.
Because we are a microschool with limited spots available, and coaches/teachers and staff are hired based on the individual student enrollment year-to-year, we do require a commitment for the entire school year after the first 60 days.

Our school is designed for students grades 7th-8th, and 6th grade siblings of students. We will take other 6th grade students on a case-by-case basis following shadow experience and student interview.

We'll work with your family to build a plan that aligns with your family’s education goals and your child’s learning needs. We offer individualized education—meaning parents and students select their curriculum before the school year begins. Curricula are based on student learning style and needs, desired outcome for the school year, and student interest.
We offer our two of own curated student-athlete development course for 8th+ students. The first was developed by doctoral candidate of Sports Science, Cheryl McCormick, titled Personal Athletic Development. We are currently developing a second semester course with USC’s School of Finance, centered on financial literacy, college prep and an overview on the ins and outs of Name, Image, Likeness.
